Voting Open: Athletes Grapple for Toyota Dream Build Glory
TORRANCE, Calif. (Oct. 31, 2013) – Top athletes tapped their imaginations. Custom build shops transformed those dreams into four different Toyota vehicles. Now fans can choose the winner of the 2013 Toyota Dream Build Challenge. Voting is now open at www.ToyotaDreamBuild.com for five days ahead of the SEMA Show reveal on Nov. 5 in Las Vegas.

TORRANCE, Calif., (Oct. 30, 2013) – The curtains came up Tuesday on the three Scion Tuner Challenge cars ahead of their Specialty Equipment Market Association (SEMA) Show debut in Las Vegas Nov. 5-8. The stars: three custom car builders representing tuner scenes in the East, the Pacific Northwest and Southern California. At the beginning of the competition, Scion gave each builder a stock 2014 tC plus $15,000 to design and modify the car within 90 days.

(Oct. 28, 2013) – Twenty-two select Central Intercollegiate Athletic Association (CIAA) and Southwestern Athletic Conference (SWAC) schools will continue their commitment to sustainability with a one-year lease of a Toyota Prius liftback or Prius Plug-in vehicle. Each school will receive a vehicle in conjunction with the 2013-14 Toyota Green Initiative (TGI) tour, an environmental stewardship program designed to empower the African American community. The tour travels to participating HBCUs (Historically Black Colleges and Universities) each fall to educate students and alumni on the benefits of adopting a sustainable lifestyle.
